Promotional Candy Jars – Add Some Sweetness to Your Promotional Products Line

Got a sweet tooth? If so, you’re not alone. More and more people are claiming that they have sweet tooths and can’t control their cravings for sweets. Well, I say let the chocolates, hard candies, caramels, and jelly beans roll! Give people what they are asking for, what they are craving.

The best way to “curb” the sweet tooths around the world is by giving them exactly what they are asking for. I found that the best way to do this is by having their sweets of choice housed in a beautiful, glass candy jar, complete with bows and ribbons. What a nice gift that would be!

If you are a business owner, you can understand how well giving promotional candy jars to customer and clients will go over. No one can refuse candy as a gift and if for some odd reason someone doesn’t like candy, you know they know someone that will love it.

The key to giving away custom made jars is to have your company’s logo or design, name, and contact information imprinted on them. This makes for excellent promotional products for your business because most people will proudly display their jars on top of their desks at work or table at home. People in their office will flock to the candy jar, take a few pieces, and maybe even inquire as to where they got the jar. Promotional candy jars make excellent conversation pieces.

But, these jars are not used just for candy. You can fill them with cookies, nuts, spices, loose tea, and even office supplies like paper clips. I’m sure people can think of a hundreds of ways to use their new jars, but I’m sure they will just keep filling them up with candy every time they run out.

Custom made candy jars can be given away at any time. They make perfect gifts for birthdays or saying “thank you.” They are also great gift items for certain holidays throughout the years. The best holidays to give away promotional candy jars are Easter, Halloween, Hanukkah and Christmas, and New Year’s. All of these holidays are very festive and are “known” for giving candy away.

For each holiday, decorate the jars accordingly. For Easter, you could have pastel colored ribbons adorning the jars. Halloween would need orange and black ribbons, Hanukkah would need silver and blue, Christmas would need red and green, and New Year’s could have black and gold.

To add further emphasis to your company’s message, you could attach tags to the ribbons with your company’s slogan along with “Happy Halloween” or “Happy New Year.”

There are so many things you can do with promotional candy jars. The key to getting the most out of your jars is to use your imagination and be creative. Once you give them away, you know you have effectively advertised and marketed your business. You have given people what they want, what they crave-and they will remember you for it every time they take one of those sweet bites.

Some Great Tips for Bulk Candy and How to Sell It

Some Great Tips for Bulk Candy and How to Sell It

People love bulk candy and there are several time-tested ways for a candy seller to get it out of the bins and into people’s homes. So how can you make wholesale bulk candy work for your establishment? Here are some tips to help your business benefit by selling these popular bulk treats.

Offer a variety. A candy seller won’t go wrong with old bulk candy favorites, things like M&Ms, malted milk balls, and gummi bears. But have some newer candies too, like Reese’s Pieces, gummi worms, and Jordan Almonds. Have sugar free treats for your diabetic customers.

Keep the candy covered. A lot of people are turned off by bulk candy because they’re afraid of airborne germs, children’s hands, and things going stale. Buying bins with hinged lids, though, will stave off some of those concerns. Hinged bins close automatically, and they also make it harder for someone to sneak out of the store with a handful of candy in their front pocket.

Acrylic bins make the candy easier for the customer to see. Forget glass; acrylic and plastic bins are where it’s at. They’re easier to clean, easier to maintain, and don’t break easily. Even better, acrylic and plastic bins are see-through, making it possible for your customers to get a better look at the delicious treats within. From bulk chocolates to bulk Jelly Bellys and bulk gummi candies, customer can see everything your selling when you put it in an acrylic bin.

Kids are customers too! Don’t forget that kids are the best (and most vocal) customers you have. Avoid fixtures that only adults can use. Tongs and scoops shouldn’t be too awkward for children, and sacks should open easily. Kids love tasty wholesale bulk candy and a candy seller who makes kids feel welcome will have customers for life.

Use color to sell. There are lots of attractive ways to display your bulk candy, but here’s a good one: by color. Arrange bins like a rainbow, with red hots on the left, sugared orange slices next, through to purple and violet M&Ms. Or consider seasonal displays, like bins of red, white, and blue for July Fourth, or team colors during the Super Bowl. Remember that part of the allure of retail bulk candy is the overall impression the display makes. When you’re arranging candy bins, put some thought into the visual impression your display will make.

Don’t forget that when it comes to selling candy in bulk, your best bet is to offer many choices and a variety of taste sensations, all attractively displayed. There are many candy wholesale options; you should be able to offer your customers a wide variety of delicious choices.
